To create the correct fabrication instructions for a product type you need to specify how each item (blind, shutter etc) is associated with a Product Type. You can do this in 2 ways.

1. By Product and/or Ranges Name

Using text found in the product and/or ranges names. These are the top two selection lists on the Once Mobile Survey screen.

For example,  using "roller" in the product name will match any product name that contains "roller" such as "Decora 2023 Contract Roller" or "Eclipse 2023 -Roller".
If text matching in the product name is not sufficient to identify the product type you can also set matching text for the Ranges name.

See Once Track: Due Days and Suppliers  for more details and examples of using product and ranges text matching

2. By Product Type Codes

This only applies if you have a Type Code column in your Ranges Tables in Once Setup and for this columns to contain the type codes.

If your product ranges do not contain a Type Code column then you can create these from the Settings, Local Settings tab of Once Setup. The button "Add Code Columns" will create empty "Type Code" columns. You will then need to manually add the codes to each range table

This action will also create empty "Fabric Code" column and a "Code" column in the extras tables but these would only be use when sending Once orders directly into blindata or other systems that require these codes.
